On October 16, 2012 my father received an extraordinary gift, a kidney from his dear friend.
Rather than going straight intro private practice, I pivoted and became a living donor social worker in addition to "just" being a therapist. I've been blessed to work with my father's incredible transplant team while supporting selfless patients through their living donation journey.
My sincerest appreciation to all organ donors as we celebrate Donate Life Month.
